After updating a plugin, the WordPress site suddenly slowed down or even became inaccessible.

Yesterday I casually updated a few plugins in the backend, thinking "it'll be a bit safer." Turns out it backfired immediately after the update. Front-end access has noticeably slowed down, sometimes resulting in blank screens. Back-end access is intermittent—sometimes accessible, sometimes frozen. Clearing the cache didn't make much difference. I'm a bit confused now. 🤯 Not entirely sure if it's a plugin conflict,PHP Is it a version issue, or is the server just unable to handle the load? Where is the most reliable place to start looking into this kind of situation?
