Blocksy Content Blocking Guide: Precise control of the content displayed on the page

Blocksy The theme's built-in content block feature provides flexible content insertion capabilities. Whether you want to add promotional information, member content, product recommendations, or set up a personalized header, footer, 404 page, this tool can do it.

The following describes how content blocks are created, insertion logic and common uses.

What is a content block

A content block is a piece of individually editable structured content that can contain text, images,slider (computer interface element), products, buttons,form (document)and other elements, and supports associations with any part of the site.

Content Block Creation Portal

Go to the backend and click Blocksy > Content Blocks, select "Add New" in the upper right corner.

In the pop-up window, select the "Hook" type, name it, and go to Gutenberg editor to edit what you want to insert.

Insert page position

After editing, open any frontend page and click "Show" in the top management toolbar. Hooks", the system will display all the locations on that page where hooks can be inserted.

Click on the pencil icon to the right of a particular hook to quickly generate and locate that hook. You can also copy the name of that hook and bind it manually later.

Setting the insertion position and order

right-hand sidea side-bar (in software)Find the Hook Position setting in and select the insertion point (e.g. below the description on the product page). You can also set the priority to control the order of multiple content blocks before and after the same position.

Priority is numeric, with 1 being at the top and larger numbers at the bottom of the display.

Setting display conditions

Content blocks can be selected to be displayed only on certain pages, for example:

• Blog Post Page
• Specific article types (e.g., products)
• Content under a category or tag

It is also possible to exclude specific pages.

Setting Visitor Conditions

Support for controlling whether different visitors can see content, for example:

• All visitors
• logged in user
• Assign roles (e.g., client, author)

This is very useful when setting up members-only modules.

Setting the device adaptation display

You can set whether a block of content is displayed on a desktop, tablet or mobile device to make the page clearer on different devices.

Setting the expiration time

Content blocks can be set to display for a set period of time and automatically hide after expiration. Suitable for time-limited activities or temporary notifications.

Dynamic insertion function

Publish and view results

After editing, click "Publish" to refresh the front page, you can see the content block appear in the specified position according to the settings.
