WoodMart Product Countdown Setting Tutorial

Open the product edit page

First of all, go to WordPress backend, click "Products" → "All Products" in the left menu, and find the product you want to set countdown time for. Click Edit to enter the product's settings page.

Setting up promotional prices and time periods

On the product edit page, scroll down to the Product Data module and make sure the current product type is either Simple or Variable.

Click on the "General" tab and enter the discounted price you want to set in "Promotional Price". For example, the original price is ¥178, now the promotional price is ¥121.

Then, click on the small "Time Table" link (below the promotional price input box) to bring up the time selection box, and select the start and end time of the promotion, for example:

• Promotion Starts: June 5, 2025 00:00
• Promotion ends: June 10, 2025 23:59

This time range is what the countdown is based on. Once set and saved, WoodMart will automatically display the countdown on the product front page.

Enable countdown function

Go to WoodMart in the backend and enable the timer on the store page in Theme Settings -> Product Profile -> Product Styles -> Countdown Timer.

View front-end display

After you save the update and visit the item's front page, you'll see aDynamic CountdownThe device displays "XX days XX hours XX minutes XX seconds".

The color, position, and size of the countdown uses the theme style by default, but if you wish to customize it, such as modifying thecalligraphic stylecolor or background, you can use the following simple CSS example:

This code can be added in Backend Appearance → Customize → Extra CSS.

If you plan to set countdown timer for multiple products, you can use "Bulk Edit" function to quickly and uniformly set promotional price and time for multiple products. It is recommended to use some plug-ins, such as "Product Bulk Editor" or "Advanced Bulk Edit", with the background table operation, more efficient.

Enhance the effect with the homepage module

The countdown does not only appear on the product detail page, but can also be combined with WoodMart'spage constructionware, add a modular countdown to the home page, event page, and feature page. Example:
