Store Address

The setup of the store address is very simple and straightforward. You just need to follow the instructions on the page and fill out your company information in categories. This way, customers will be able to get a clear picture of your company information and contact details while browsing your store.

synthesized option

Sales Location: It's all about choosing which country/region you want to sell your product in.

Delivery Area: Here you have to select the countries/regions that your logistics provider can deliver to, to make sure that your customers can receive the goods without any problems.

Default Client Location: If your site is geared towards global users, it is recommended to select "No default position", as the audience of cross-border e-commerce is usually spread all over the place and not necessarily concentrated in the country/region where the company is located.

Enabling the "tax" function: By checking this box, your website will be able to automatically calculate the taxes that may be incurred on the sale of your products, which is important for compliance.

Using CouponsWant to send a discount to your users? Check the "Enable coupon code usage" box and users will be able to enter the coupon code at checkout to receive the discount. Also, if you want to allow users to use multiple coupons at the same time, you can check "Calculate coupon discounts sequentially", but please note that this feature may cause the discounts to stack, so it is best to test it before using it to make sure it is okay before turning it on for a long period of time.

Currency Options

The Currency Options setting is really about choosing what currency the item is priced in, and determining exactly what that currency looks like when displayed.

currency: What money is used to calculate the price when selling goods? For example, if you sell in China, choose RMB, if you sell in the US, choose USD. It's better to choose according to which country/region your website operates in.

Location of currencies: It is where the currency symbol is placed when the price of the item is displayed on the website. The default is on the left, but you can choose another position if you prefer a different layout.

Thousand-digit separator:The default is "," which refers to the separator symbol when the price is in thousands of unit prices, according to your own preference.

Fractional separator:The decimal separator at the end of the price, the default is ". ", can be set according to your own preferences.

The number of decimal places:The default is 2 digits, that is, ¥ 1234.00, .00 that is, the number of digits after the decimal point, the normal display specification of the general product price is also 2 digits, it is recommended to keep the default.

Reminder: Whenever you finish changing the settings of a page, remember to click the "Save Changes" button below, so that your settings will be saved. If you exit or go to another page without clicking "Save Changes", then all the previous settings will be changed in vain. So, don't forget to save!

II. Product setup

Product settings in WoCommerce does not mean managing the products themselves, but rather configuring the URLs and features of the product pages. I'll explain the specific product management features separately in a later tutorial. For now, we're going to talk about three important parts of the product settings page: store page settings, measurement unit settings, and rating function settings. Next, I'll explain each of these in detail.

图片[3]-WooCommerce的功能参数配置-光子波动网 | WordPress教程、Elementor教程与故障修复

store page

Store page:After installing WooCommerce, WordPress will automatically create several e-commerce related pages, including the store page. The default URL of this store page is yourdomain.com/shop, you can see this default value in the "Shop Page" settings. If you have your own product page, you can choose it as the store page; if you don't have any special needs, just keep this default value. In this way, customers can easily browse and buy your products.

The act of adding to the shopping cart:When adding to cart, you can choose two different behaviors. If you check "Redirect to cart page after successful addition", then when users click "Add to cart", the page will automatically redirect to the cart page, so they can start checking out directly. And if you check "Enable AJAX on Add to Cart button", after users click the button, the shopping cart will show the products they added immediately, without jumping to the page. Although these two features can be enabled at the same time, they are a bit conflicting, so it's best to decide which one to use based on your marketing strategy.

Placeholder image:When the product is not uploaded (when the product image is null), the product will be displayed in the front-end page of the image, this image is Woocommerce automatically configure the placeholder image, this item can be kept by default, because there is no need to configure.

surveying

unit of weight: The unit to choose here is the unit used to measure the weight of the product. Don't choose according to your own preference, you have to consider which country or region your target users are in and what weight unit they commonly use. Once you've made your selection, users will be able to tell at a glance how much the product weighs. Click on the checkbox on the right and choose a weight unit that suits your users.

unit of measurement: The setting method is the same as the weight unit, just choose the dimension unit that the user is familiar with.

estimation

evaluation function: There are a number of optional evaluation features listed here, and the tips for each feature are clear. Just check off whichever feature you see fit for your needs.

III. Tax-related settings

图片[4]-WooCommerce的功能参数配置-光子波动网 | WordPress教程、Elementor教程与故障修复

The prices entered are tax inclusive: That is, when you set the price of the item, do you already account for the tax or not? This will have to depend on your actual situation.

Calculation of taxes is based on: The choice here is which address to base the tax on. There are three options to choose from: the customer's delivery address, the customer's billing address, and the store's base address. Generally, the customer's delivery address is chosen to calculate the tax, which is more accurate.

Distribution tax typeFor this one, we suggest you keep the default value, which is "Deliver taxed shopping cart-based items". This is safer.

discard four, but treat five as whole (of decimal points): If you check the box "Round in subtotals, not in every line", then the tax will be rounded. This will result in a tax that is closer to the actual value.

Surtax: Here you can add or delete taxes and also add customized taxes.

Show price in store: Do you want to include taxes when you see the price on the product page? If so, set it up.

Display prices during shopping and checkout: When checking out, do you want to see taxes included in the total price of the item? Set that up too if you need to.

Price Display Prefix: Next to the price on the product page, would you like to add the name of the tax? For example, "tax included" or "tax excluded". If you want to add it, fill it in here.

Show total taxes and fees: Taxes can be displayed in two ways, either separately for each item or as a separate subtotal. Choose whatever is convenient for you.

IV. Distribution setup

The Delivery Settings page is mainly used to set where products can be delivered to. Generally speaking, the country or region in which your e-commerce site operates, the delivery area should be chosen there as well, otherwise customers may not be able to pay for what they buy. There are three important parts of the delivery settings to set up, including the delivery area, the shipping method and the shipping template. Let's start with the delivery area.
