Do I need to create a page.php file?

I am creating a custom theme on WordPress that uses Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to integrate content from the dashboard into the theme. I have designed a unique template for each page. In this case, do I still need to create the page.php file? Any suggestions?

  It is recommended that page.php be kept as a fallback solution to ensure that content is rendered correctly even if a page has no template assigned.
