I'm going to want to try hosting my own website on a VPS and learn by doing.

Currently I understand that VPS is more flexible than web hosting, but you need to configure your own server environment (e.g., nginx, PHP, databases, etc.), and I'm not too familiar with these, so I'm going to take this opportunity to learn them systematically.
