I'm new to this and some of the links to my site are missing and I understand that I have to do redirects, I was wondering if there are any restrictions or requirements?

  301 redirects are permanent redirects. In WordPress website, you can use plugins to set it. Commonly used plug-ins are: Redirection plug-in: you can set the redirection of the page or post in the background. Yoast SEO plug-in: also provides redirection, but you need a paid version. Specific steps: Install and enable Redirection plugin. In WordPress backend, under "Tools" -> "Redirection", click "Add Redirection". Enter the old URL and new URL to redirect. Save the changes.
