WooCommerce 10.0 RC2 Main Update Highlights

2. Shareable checkout links

Merchants can now create custom links that automatically add specific products to the cart and jump directly to the checkout page. This makes it easier to share ready-to-buy bundles through email marketing, social media or landing pages.

3. CSV product importer supports rich text content

In previous versions, users were unable to import a file containing the HTML of content (e.g., formatted descriptions, tables, etc.) CSV Files. The enhanced CSV importer now correctly handles files containing HTML content while maintaining safety standards for other harmful imports.

4. new filter to customize the text of promotional labels in the block

Added woocommerce_sale_badge_text Filter that allows the developer to have full control over the promotional label text displayed in the block layout. The filter only takes effect on the front-end and receives the full product object and supports dynamic adaptation of the text based on product data, for example displaying different messages based on product type or category.

5. Product gallery (Beta) block restructuring

In order to provide better image control, the structure of the Product Gallery block now uses product images as a display method. However, this change is disruptive and is intended to make the block more future compatible. For Product Gallery (Beta) blocks inserted prior to WooCommerce 10.0, users will need to delete the block in the editor and reinsert it. Some compatibility support still exists, but will be deprecated in WooCommerce 10.2.
