It comes with many templates, but the default layout does not necessarily meet the needs of all pages. For the "Contact Us" "About Us" page, usually want to remove the sidebar; while the blog post page, you need the sidebar to display categories, labels, search box and other content. The following is a practical way to enable or disable the sidebar for a specific page, taking into account your current background interface.

2. Astra free version of the method of setting up sidebars for individual pages

Step 1: Go to page editor

Login to WordPress Backend
Click Pages → All Pages

Find the required modifications to theweb pageClick to edit

Step 2: Find Astra Settings on the right side of the page.

Step 3: Setting Sidebar Options

It will be seen in Astra Settings → Sidebar:

Default: Inherits the global settings.
No Sidebar: full-width display of the page
Left Sidebar
Right Sidebar

After selecting the suitable layout, click Update in the upper right corner and the page sidebar layout takes effect immediately.

Practical Examples

3. Sidebars are standardized throughout the site

If you need a uniform sidebar layout for all pages or posts:

Go to Appearance → Customize

Find the General option

See if Sidebar Layout is included (a side-bar (in software)(Layout) Options

Select No Sidebar, Left Sidebar or Right Sidebar as required.
