Step 1: Upgrade to Kadence Pro

  1. Express (Free Version only, cannot use Hooked Elements Pro features)
  2. Plus (includes Theme Pro features)
  3. Ultimate (most versatile and cost-effective)

• Go to your Kadence Account Center and download the Kadence Pro plug-in zip file.

• In the WordPress backend select: Plugins > Install Plugin, select the zip file and install it, click "Enable Plugin".

• Enter License Key to activate Pro features

Step 2: Enable the Hooked Elements Feature

• Go to the WordPress backend
• Click Appearance > Kadence

• In the Pro Addons list, turn on "Hooked Elements".

Step 3: Create New Hooked Element

• Go to Appearance > Kadence > Elements and click "Add New" to create a new element.

• Select the element type, e.g. "Content Section".

Step 4: Design your elements

• Click on the "+" to add a block, search for "Table of Contents", select it and add it.

• Set the style and configuration of the catalog block. If you need a template, you can download and import it for free from the Kadence Table of Contents template library.

Step 5: Select element placement (Placement)

• Click on "Element Settings" in the upper right corner.
• Select the element position in the Placement drop-down menu
